    Important dates

Deadline for submitting abstracts: July 17th, 2015

Notification of acceptance: October 1st, 2015

    Conference: November 18th to 20th, 2015

    Languages

Presentations will be accepted in French and English. However, we strongly encourage that people who can present in French do so, due to the multidisciplinary nature of the conference and because it will take place in a French speaking university. Moreover, researches on modern languages can be presented in the language under investigation (Spanish or German).

    Presentations format

Presentations will last 20 minutes, and will be followed by a 10-minute long question period. You can find more details on the abstract and bibliography in the following form.

    Who can submit?

Graduate students and researchers working on any discipline related to language are invited to submit an abstract. Undergraduate students’ propositions will also be considered. The main goal of this event is to create a space at Université de Montréal for graduate students who have never, or seldom, presented in public, allowing them to publish for the first time. In order to promote a greater diffusion and sharing of knowledge, and to establish a contact between students of different universities in related domains, we wish to invite members of the international academic community.

    Peer-review

Proposals will be evaluated anonymously by competent committees (of at least three people among which one professor) from related fields of research.

    Awards

Prices will be awarded to the best presentations.
